The Information Management program at Hochschule Hannover is divided into two study sections.
Timetable
Accordingly, the first study section takes place from the 1st to the 3rd semester, the second study section follows from semester 4 to 7. The course of studies can also be individually adapted in the form of competence fields .
In the first study section, the basics of information science are taught in order to bring students to a uniform level of knowledge and to build a stable foundation for the following semesters. In doing so, students can get an idea of the six fields of competence in order to specialize in the second study section.
The second stage of studies begins with the first Internship Phase (19-22 weeks / 1 semester), which gives students the opportunity to apply what they have learned in practice and gain experience. In the following semesters, knowledge is deepened in the chosen fields of competence. The seventh and final semester serves both as the Internship Phase, during which an eleven-week internship is completed, and for writing the bachelor's thesis.
